NAS INVEST: FURTHER LETTING SUCCESS IN FRANKFURT – SENCKENBERGTURM ALMOST FULLY LET, HORIZON TOWER ALSO FILLING UP

Frankfurt am Main / 18.04.2024The real estate investor and asset manager NAS Invest (“NAS”) is continuing its series of letting successes in and around the office location of Frankfurt. The Senckenbergturm in the district of the same name, located between Frankfurt’s Westend and Bockenheim districts, is about to be fully let. This is made possible by the conclusion of a long-term rental agreement with Kompass Group AG. Only the 23rd floor with its approx. 940 m² is still available. Demand for this customizable space also remains high. The Horizon Tower, located on the outskirts of the city in Eschborn, is also still in demand. Following the conclusion of the latest rental agreement, NAS can now welcome AlphaESS Europe as a new tenant.

NAS acquired the Senckenbergturm at the turn of 2019/2020. The building was completed at the beginning of 2022. Despite the challenging market environment, NAS has recorded a number of letting successes at the property with its 25,700 m² of office space and a further 1,300 m² of other space, particularly in recent months. Since the end of last year, new tenants have been found for a total of almost 4,000 m². In addition to the Kompass Group, these include the internationally active software developer Wipro and Capco as well as the global technology and management consultancy 4C GROUP. The Wipro Group has introduced a new design and work concept and is convinced that the Senckenbergturm is the right choice for this. All rental agreements are long-term. Around 97 percent of the high-rise building has now been let.

The relocation of the European headquarters of AlphaESS, a leading global provider of energy storage solutions and services, brings a new user to the Horizon Tower in Eschborn. AlphaESS Europe GmbH is moving from Langen to the Frankfurt suburb and will occupy almost 800 m² of office space in future. This lease agreement is also long-term. The subsidiary of a globally active German technology company recently signed a lease for around 3,300 m² of office and warehouse space. This brings the occupancy rate of the Horizon Tower to around 87 percent.

JLL advised on the letting of the space in Frankfurt’s Senckenbergturm. NAS was advised by PROKS Real Estate on the letting of the Horizon Tower to AlphaESS Europe, which was brokered by Savills.
