Frankfurt/Main, 18 January 2022. One of Frankfurt’s most prominent office buildings, the “Senckenbergturm”, is completed. After two and a half years of construction new owner NAS Invest took over the 25-story and 106-meter skyscraper located in Robert-Meyer-Strasse on schedule. At the same time, the Frankfurt-based property investor handed over around 15,000 m² of office space to anchor tenant BNP Paribas. NATIXIS Pfandbriefbank provided the financing of the property.

The Senckenbergturm comprises a total of 26,724 m² of GLA and meets the highest international office standards. Features include flexible office spaces optimized for New Work concepts and a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure. NAS Invest had purchased the property in a forward deal from BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2019. BNPPRE’s German subsidiary BNP Paribas Property Development was responsible for the development.

The property has been awarded with a “BREEAM Excellent” sustainability certificate and is located in direct vicinity of the world-famous natural history museum “Senckenberg Museum”. Senckenbergturm is also a central part of the new “Senckenberg Quartier” urban quarter in the district of Bockenheim. The quarter includes a residential tower, a second office building and Frankfurt’s largest kindergarten. The project is very well connected to public transportation, the trade fair and the highway network.

NAS Invest is confident of the Senckenberg Quarter as an upcoming office location. The company is currently in exclusive negotiations with two potential tenants to lease a total of five floors. The accounting firm Warth & Klein Grant Thornton already signed a long-term lease for 2,000 m² of office space in August 2021 and will also move into the new premises this year.
