Nuremberg / Frankfurt, 16.03.2020. NAS Invest has let around 1,600 sqm of office and storage space to Siemens Mobility in the Air Campus office building in Nuremberg’s Nordost-Park industrial area. The multi-tenant property is now 97% occupied. NAS Invest had acquired the Air Campus for 100 million EUR in mid-2019 and plans to invest several millions in the building over the next few years.
NAS Invest aims to realize the full potential of the Air Campus through modernization and other measures to raise the value of the property. The conclusion of the new, long term lease agreement with Siemens Mobility has brought the Frankfurt based company a considerable step closer to its goal. Built in 2002, the Air Campus at Thurn-und-Taxis-Strasse 10 to 12 offers a total of around 54,000 sqm of office space and is classified as a core plus property. The main tenants are well-known automotive and consulting companies like Schaeffler, Nokia and Rödl & Partner.
The new tenant Siemens Mobility is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens AG and has been providing transport solutions for over 160 years. Its core business includes rolling stock, rail automation and electrification, intelligent road traffic systems and related services. Siemens Mobility, together with sister company Siemens Traffic Systems, will employ 40 people at the Air Campus. The lease was brokered by Küspert & Küspert from Nuremberg.
