Frankfurt am Main / 07.08.2024. The real estate investor and asset manager NAS Invest (“NAS”) is filling the position of Chief Legal Officer and has found a successor for Simon Velten at the international law firm Clifford Chance: Dr. Stephanie Cohen has already assumed responsibility for the legal and compliance departments of the independent real estate investment platform for institutional and private investors based in Frankfurt am Main in mid-June 2024.
The 36-year-old was most recently a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance and focused on real estate and corporate law. During her time at the major global law firm, Stephanie Cohen was able to gain extensive experience on the corporate side during on-site assignments with various clients. In her new role, the fully qualified lawyer, like her predecessor, reports directly to the CEO of NAS Invest, Steffen Ricken. The company’s new head lawyer studied at the Université de Neuchâtel in Switzerland and at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, where she also completed her doctorate. She speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
